Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine will not surrender its territories or a nuclear power facility without resistance, despite ongoing pressure and prolonged fighting.

The nuclear power plant remains under Russian control, while parts of the Donbas region are still held by Ukraine, highlighting the complex and divided reality on the ground.

However, the conflict has also sparked internal debate. A Ukrainian journalist noted that many Ukrainians are exhausted by the war and are increasingly open to territorial compromises, questioning the human cost of continued fighting.

“What is the purpose of further bloodshed?” the journalist asked, reflecting growing public fatigue as the war drags on.
