Turkish President has called on Islamic countries to strengthen mutual cooperation for development and to use economic pressure as a tool against Israeli aggression.

Addressing an emergency Arab-Islamic summit, the Turkish president stressed that economic pressure must be applied on Israel, reminding that past experiences have shown such measures can be effective.

He emphasized that the Arab and Islamic world must achieve self-reliance in key developmental sectors and accelerate joint cooperation in fields of progress.

He also highlighted the importance of establishing long-term cooperation mechanisms among Islamic nations.

The Turkish president warned that Israel’s increasing aggression poses a direct threat to the entire region, pointing out that the hostility has now extended even towards states that were attempting to mediate for peace.

He expressed hope that the summit’s decisions would be transformed into written resolutions, sending a strong and united message to the international community.

Furthermore, he alleged that the Israeli government aims to continue the massacre of the Palestinian people and drag the entire region into prolonged instability.
