Paris Hours after the collapse of the French government, National Rally leader Jordan Bardella has called

for immediate snap elections, declaring that President Emmanuel Macron can no longer restore stability by merely appointing new prime ministers.

Bardella, whose far-right party has surged in popularity, said France needs “a clear democratic mandate” to end political deadlock.

He insisted that only fresh elections can provide legitimacy and stability, warning that repeated changes of prime ministers under Macron are worsening the crisis.

The collapse marks a new phase of political turmoil in France, as opposition parties demand a reset while the presidency struggles to maintain control.
