Islamabad has issued a strong warning to Kabul, saying that Pakistan will no longer tolerate

terrorist activities planned or carried out from Afghan soil.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stressed that Afghanistan must take responsibility for stopping militant groups using its territory against Pakistan.

He said Islamabad’s patience has reached its limit after repeated cross-border attacks and rising violence inside the country.

The minister added that Pakistan wants peace and stability in the region, but this is only possible if

Kabul acts against terrorist networks operating within Afghanistan.
