While most European nations are still discussing potential threats, Finland has already taken concrete action.

According to reports, the country has built more than 50,000 bomb shelters, providing safe space for nearly all of its 5.5 million citizens.

Finnish law requires that every building over 1,200 square meters must include a secure underground shelter.

These shelters are stocked with essentials such as food for 72 hours, flashlights, batteries, and sleeping mats, ensuring residents can survive in case of emergencies or attacks.

Officials say this nationwide readiness reflects Finland’s proactive approach to national security and civil defense, setting an example for the rest of Europe.
