Russia says it has successfully tested its nuclear-powered cruise missile, the Burevestnik, on October 21.

According to Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, the missile flew 14,000 kilometers, demonstrating its ability to bypass air defense systems.

President Vladimir Putin hailed Russia’s nuclear arsenal as “the most powerful in the world,”

emphasizing that the country will “continue developing its strategic capabilities.”

The Burevestnik missile, classified as a nuclear-powered weapon, is believed to have an almost unlimited range.

NATO countries have expressed growing concern over these tests due to potential risks of radioactive contamination.
