Seoul: U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the long-standing rare earths

dispute between the United States and China

has been resolved following his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea.

The summit, held on the sidelines of the APEC conference, marked the first face-to-face

meeting between the two leaders since 2019. The talks aimed to ease ongoing tensions sparked by Trump’s trade war with China.
