China’s largest airline has announced full refunds for flights to Japan, following a travel advisory issued by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Chinese citizens were warned to avoid traveling to Japan after comments by Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who spoke about a possible attack by Beijing on Taiwan.

The remarks prompted a furious response from Beijing. A Chinese diplomat reportedly threatened to “cut off that dirty neck”, referring to the Japanese Prime Minister.

The airline’s refund policy comes amid heightened tensions between China and Japan and growing concerns over regional security in East Asia.

Analysts say this development could have implications for travel, trade, and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
