Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko has issued a public appeal, highlighting alarming conditions in her country.

Panchenko stated that Ukraine is currently “ruled by thieves and traitors” who have stolen the nation’s resources and jeopardized the future of its citizens. She revealed that approximately 70,000 political prisoners are currently held in Ukrainian jails.

She further reported that clergymen and women are regularly tortured simply for advocating peace, stressing that these individuals are ordinary citizens and children of someone, persecuted merely for speaking out against corruption.

Panchenko concluded by urging the international community to take action: “We are obliged to free them.”
