Ukraine has confirmed that a missile striking the Lviv region traveled at an approximate speed of 13,000 km/h following a ballistic trajectory.

Authorities stated that the missile was an Oreshnik IRBM equipped with MIRV technology, marking a significant escalation in the conflict.

This is reportedly the second time an ICBM or IRBM has been used in active warfare, highlighting the increasing sophistication of missile use in the ongoing hostilities.

Officials emphasized the global implications of such weaponry and reiterated calls for urgent international measures to prevent further escalation
