Moscow’s largest airport has descended into chaos after abnormal heavy snowfall caused major disruptions. More than 120 flights were delayed or cancelled, forcing passengers to remain inside the terminal for long hours.

Due to overcrowding, many travelers were seen sleeping on inflatable mattresses directly on the airport floor. The situation worsened in the baggage claim area, where luggage from earlier flights piled up, creating severe congestion.

Airport authorities are working to restore normal operations as weather conditions gradually improve.
