China Expands Electrified Border Fence Network

China is expanding its border security infrastructure by constructing more fences along its southern frontiers with Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar.

These fences electrified, topped with razor wire, and fitted with motion sensors stretch for over 2,484 miles, designed primarily to prevent dissidents and migrants from fleeing the country.
