Youth Football Team Hit During Travel to Black Sea Resort
A drone strike targeted a bus transporting a youth football team from the Belarusian city of Rechytsa while the group was traveling through Russia’s Bryansk region toward the Black Sea resort of Gelendzhik.
The attack struck a civilian vehicle carrying children, triggering immediate international condemnation from Minsk and a criminal investigation by Moscow.
Casualties: One Adult Dead, Seven Hospitalized, One Child Critical
According to Russian authorities, one adult chaperone accompanying the youth team was killed in the strike Bus . Seven individuals were subsequently hospitalized following the attack.
At least one child remains in critical condition, according to officials monitoring the situation following the incident.

“We view this as yet another act of terrorism against civilians,” the ministry stated.
Minsk has maintained a close political and military alignment with Moscow throughout the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and the attack on Belarusian nationals on Russian soil is likely to deepen that bilateral solidarity.

The passengers on the bus were members of a youth football team based in Rechytsa, a city in southeastern Belarusian. The team was en route to Gelendzhik, a popular Russian resort city on the Black Sea coast, for what appears to have been a sporting trip.
