Russia is currently running a large propaganda campaign on the social media platform X. The main goal is to make Europeans believe that Muslims are taking over their countries. Fear is being created, and anger is being used to spread this message.

But reality tells a different story.

A video from Moscow shows hundreds of thousands of Muslims gathered in the streets to offer Eid prayers peacefully. This scene is not from Paris, Malmö, or London.

This is Moscow. This is Russia.

Propaganda is usually not about facts. It is about changing people’s focus and making sure their anger is directed at the wrong target.

A video from Moscow tells a very different story than the fear being spread online.
