Helsinki: Finland’s Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has reaffirmed that Nordic nations, Arctic states,

and NATO allies remain jointly committed to safeguarding peace, stability, and cooperation across the Arctic region.

She emphasized that while collective security in the High North is a shared responsibility, decisions

related specifically to Denmark and Greenland rest solely with the people and authorities of Denmark and Greenland.

Valtonen underlined that these matters must be addressed independently, without external pressure,

in line with international principles and regional cooperation.
