Thank you for the opportunity to speak at the Latvian Parliament, Saeima.

Finland and Latvia share not only a common security environment but also a common understanding of it.

Both of our nations have consistently worked to strengthen security in our region and across Europe. We have never lowered our guard. Instead, we continue to invest in defence and resilience.

Small countries can be agile. Finland and Latvia are clear examples of this. Together, we can make a real difference—while staying true to our values and ensuring our voices are heard.
