Finland President Urges Iran to Stop Violence

The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, has urged Iranian authorities to stop using violence against their own people. He called on Iran to respect freedom of expression and the right to peaceful protest.

President Stubb also strongly urges Iran to take immediate action to ensure these rights are upheld.

President Stubb said that aggression must end and demanded the immediate release of all demonstrators who have been unjustly detained.

He stressed that peaceful assembly is a basic human right and must be protected.
