๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Finlandโ€™s President Alexander Stubb has clarified that the country will not immediately shoot down unidentified drones or aerial objects entering its airspace. Instead, a โ€œspecial protocolโ€ will be followed.

In an interview, Stubb explained that airspace violations are handled in stages: first verification, then an official announcement, and finally a decision by the Finnish Air Force.

The president stressed that Europe is not at war with Russia, highlighting the need for a balanced โ€œcarrot and stickโ€ strategy.

โ€œFirst we used the carrot, and now President Trump is using the stick.

The recent statements about downed aircraft are part of that approach,โ€ Stubb said.
