Helsinki The Finnish President strongly condemned Russia after it launched a massive overnight drone and missile assault on Kyiv, killing civilians, including a child and medical workers.

The President described the attack as “cold-blooded” and said it further exposes Russia’s false narratives about the war, especially in the wake of the UN General Assembly session.

He urged the European Union to swiftly approve the next package of sanctions, stressing the need to maintain maximum pressure on Russia’s war machine.
