Kazakhstan Surpasses Russia in GDP Per Capita IMF

For the first time, Kazakhstan’s GDP per capita has surpassed Russia’s, according to IMF data. The figure for Kazakhstan reached $14,770, slightly ahead of Russia’s $14,260.

Historically, Russia had maintained the highest GDP per capita among CIS nations, but this year’s figures mark a shift in the regional economic standings.
