Tokyo: Global pop icon Lady Gaga became visibly emotional during her concert in Japan, speaking out strongly against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while addressing the audience directly from the stage.
According to attendees, Gaga paused her performance to read from prepared notes and appeared close to tears as she expressed concern over immigration enforcement practices in the United States.
She said her “heart is aching” as she thinks about people across America, particularly children and families, whom she believes are being harshly affected by ICE actions.
Her remarks were met with loud applause from the crowd, highlighting the growing international attention on U.S. immigration policies and their humanitarian impact.
An emotional on-stage moment in Tokyo has once again put U.S. immigration policies under the global spotlight.
