Met Police Bust UK-China Stolen Phone Smuggling Ring

The Metropolitan Police have dismantled what is believed to be one of the UK’s largest mobile phone theft and smuggling networks.
According to authorities, the criminal organisation is suspected of trafficking nearly 40,000 stolen phones from the UK to China over the past 12 months.

Police described the operation as a major breakthrough in tackling organised crime and cross-border smuggling activities.
Further investigations are underway to identify additional members and recover remaining stolen devices.
