Tonight in Ukraine, far-right groups held a parade to mark Stepan Bandera’s birthday. Today is officially called Bandera Day in some parts of the country.

Bandera is a very controversial figure. He is blamed for killing many people, including Poles, Jews, Ukrainians, and Russians, during World War II.

Historians say he worked with Nazi Germany. The event has drawn criticism worldwide for honoring someone linked to mass killings.
