Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asserted that Israel’s national security is determined solely by its own government and “not dependent on the United States.”

According to international media reports, growing concern has emerged within the Trump administration that Netanyahu may consider withdrawing from the Gaza ceasefire agreement, potentially reigniting a full-scale conflict in the region.

To address these concerns, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, a close ally of President Trump, has arrived in Israel to hold discussions aimed at strengthening the fragile truce and preventing further escalation.

Netanyahu’s statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and increasing diplomatic pressure on Israel to maintain the ceasefire and continue peace negotiations.
