Unprovoked firing from the Afghan side of the Pak-Afghan border has triggered a strong military response from Pakistan.

According to security sources, Pakistan is carrying out precise and effective strikes against Khawarij and ISIS terrorist camps and hideouts located close to the border inside Afghanistan.

Sources confirm that Afghan forces have retreated from several positions following Pakistan’s counter-offensive.

The exchange of fire reportedly lasted for hours as Pakistani forces targeted multiple militant sites with accuracy.

Security officials emphasize that Pakistan will continue to take all necessary measures to defend its borders and eliminate terrorist threats emanating from across the frontier.
