Putin Refuses to Bow to US, Admits Sanctions Hurting

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Russia will “never bow to US pressure”, even as he acknowledged that Western sanctions are causing economic strain and could result in “some losses.”

Putin’s remarks came during a televised address on Thursday, where he discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine and the growing global economic isolation of Moscow.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that China and India Russia’s key oil buyers may reduce crude imports amid mounting diplomatic pressure from Washington as US President Donald Trump pushes to end the conflict.

Analysts say the Kremlin faces increasing challenges as sanctions tighten, affecting trade, investment, and the ruble’s stability.
