Russia and Iran to Sign Deal for New Nuclear Power Plant

Russia and Iran are set to sign an agreement to build new nuclear power plant units in Iran. At present, eight power units are already under construction in the country with Russian cooperation, four of which are located in Bushehr.

The upcoming deal highlights the deepening energy and strategic partnership between Moscow and Tehran, as Iran continues to expand its nuclear power generation capacity with Russian support.
