Sweden Imams Linked to Muslim Brotherhood Steal Millions

An explosive investigation by Expressen, one of Sweden’s largest newspapers, has revealed that a

network of Islamist Muslim Brotherhood-linked

Imams running private schools in Sweden stole over 1 billion SEK from school vouchers and

welfare programs before fleeing the country.

Among them, former Member of Parliament Abdirizak Waberi allegedly siphoned off 12 million

SEK through fake IT invoices to fund sex clubs in Thailand, luxury hotels, and his Islamist party in Somalia.

Other Imams, including Abo Raad, Abdel Nasser El Nadi, and Hussein al-Jibury, were classified as

national security threats by the Swedish Security Service (Säpo) in 2019. They ran schools and

preschools that funneled tens of millions of SEK to Malta, private individuals, and extremist groups.

Authorities have since shut down most of these schools—sometimes for extremism, sometimes

via financial investigations likened to the “Al Capone route.”

Prosecutor Henric Fagher said taxpayer money intended for Swedish children instead funded

luxury lifestyles and radical Islamist agendas, marking a double loss for society.
