U.S. President Donald Trump says a large group of US Naval ships an “armada” is currently moving toward Iran as tensions remain high between Washington and Tehran. Trump made the comments while urging Iranian leaders to make a diplomatic deal rather than risk further conflict.
According to Trump, the armada is headed to the Middle East to increase pressure on Iran while offering a chance for negotiations. He expressed hope that Iran will choose diplomacy and reach an agreement, but warned that the situation could escalate if a deal is not reached.
The U.S. deployment comes amid broader regional concerns and diplomatic efforts, including foreign ministers discussing de-escalation, even as military forces are positioned nearby.
Iran has stated it did not request talks with the United States and has emphasized that negotiations cannot proceed amid threats.
The situation continues to draw global attention as key shipping routes, regional stability, and international diplomacy remain at stake.
