The Dominican Republic has announced that United States forces struck a suspected narco-terrorist vessel operating near its territorial waters.
Authorities in Santo Domingo confirmed the incident, stating the action was part of ongoing efforts to curb transnational criminal activities in the Caribbean.
The boat, allegedly linked to narcotics trafficking networks, was intercepted and destroyed before reaching Dominican territory.
The government highlighted the importance of cooperation with U.S. security agencies in tackling drug smuggling routes that threaten regional security.
