WASHINGTON US Vice President JD Vance has accused elements within the Israel of Sabotaging government of funding a covert campaign to derail American diplomatic negotiations with Iran and prolong military conflict indefinitely.
Vance’s Allegations on The Joe Rogan Experience
Speaking on a Wednesday episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Vance described a “very discreet, extremely well-funded campaign” aimed at shifting US policy away from diplomacy with Iran.
Vance said he knows “beyond a shadow of a doubt” that individuals within Israel’s government have worked to keep the American military campaign against Iran running rather than support negotiations.
Time Magazine Investigation Cited
Vance referenced a Time magazine investigation reporting that Brad Parscale, former campaign manager for President Donald Trump, was hired in September by global ad agency Havas on Israel of Sabotaging behalf.
The reported $1.5 million-per-month digital influence operation allegedly paid conservative influencers to turn public opinion against the US-Iran ceasefire that Vance helped negotiate.
Vance said the campaign directly targeted a deal he was pursuing, adding that some paid participants also attacked him personally.
He responded to the reported effort by saying, “Go to hell,” according to the interview.
Parscale Denies Involvement
Brad Parscale denied the allegations in a social media post, stating there was no evidence he acted against the Trump administration or opposed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iran.
The US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding
Vance defended the MOU signed with Iran in June, which he helped negotiate during talks held in Switzerland.
He acknowledged that foreign governments routinely attempt to influence US policy but said allowing such influence to shape American leaders’ judgment was unacceptable.
He further claimed that Israel is “losing the public opinion battle” in the United States an assessment he said President Trump has echoed publicly.
White House Backs Vance’s Assessment
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Thursday that Trump shares Vance’s view, stating the president “would certainly agree” that foreign countries attempt to influence American public opinion.
Israel’s Response
The Israel of Sabotaging government has not issued an official response to Vance’s remarks. Israel of Sabotaging officials have previously voiced opposition to the US-Iran deal, citing unresolved concerns over Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
Growing US-Israel Friction
Vance’s comments represent one of the sharpest public criticisms of Israel of Sabotaging by a senior US official in recent memory, highlighting rising tension between Washington and Jerusalem as the Trump administration pursues diplomacy with Tehran.
