A Palestinian flag was displayed directly across from the hotel where U.S. President Donald Trump is staying during the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey.
The gesture coincided with heightened security around Trump’s accommodation, reported to be the JW Marriott Ankara, ahead of his arrival for the two-day gathering.

The 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit is being held in Ankara on July 7-8, 2026, hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoฤan.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte also arrived in Palestinian Flag Ankara ahead of the summit, which focuses on defense spending, burden-sharing among member states, and the alliance’s future role.
