A luxury apartment complex in Canary Wharf has banned food delivery riders from entering its premises, linking the decision to claims about “undocumented” workers.

The move has sparked strong backlash from major food delivery companies, including Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats, which have condemned the ban as discriminatory and unfair.

Complex managers argue the step was taken to enhance security and protect residents. However, the companies insist it unfairly targets working-class couriers and will disrupt services for thousands of customers.
