Joke of the Day: CISA Head Leaks Documents into ChatGPT

According to Politico, the acting head of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Madhu Gottumukkala, accidentally uploaded internal documents into the public version of ChatGPT while working.

The documents were not classified but marked “For Official Use Only”, exposing CISA contracts, cybersecurity materials, and other sensitive files.

Ironically, Gottumukkala had previously failed a polygraph test, which he personally advocated for. Ultimately, rank-and-file employees were suspended, while he faced no repercussions.
