Deadly Landslide Hits West Bandung, Dozens Missing

A powerful landslide hit Pasirlangu village in the Cisarua district of West Bandung, Indonesia, early Monday morning between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m., when most people were asleep.

According to officials, at least seven people have died, and around 80–82 residents are still missing. The landslide also destroyed or badly damaged about 30–34 houses.

Rescue teams are working to find survivors and help the affected families. The situation remains dangerous, and authorities are warning nearby communities to stay alert.
