A wave of fear has gripped Asian and Muslim women in the United Kingdom following a rise in rape and sexual assault cases targeting non-white females.

According to local reports, Muslim women wearing hijab have become particularly vulnerable, facing racially motivated harassment and violence while simply going about their daily lives.

Activists and women’s rights groups warn that racism and gender-based violence are intersecting in alarming ways, leaving non-white women feeling unsafe even in public spaces.

For many, being non-white has become enough to make them a target, as growing incidents have sparked calls for stronger legal protection and greater accountability from law enforcement authorities.
