The United States, under former President Trump, has lifted sanctions on Belarus. Meanwhile, developments in Belarus show growing military activity near the Russian border.
Belarus has deployed the Oreshnik intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) at the abandoned Kriechov Air Base in eastern Belarus. Satellite imagery indicates a 90% probability that platforms for mobile missile launch systems are being prepared at the site.
The intelligence also detected accelerated construction of facilities commonly associated with strategic missile operations.
These include protected railway infrastructure for missile transport and camouflaged launch zones, suggesting Belarus is enhancing its long-range strike capabilities.
