Finnish President Alexander Stubb addressed questions about Finland’s military capabilities, stating that the country can defend itself independently against potential threats.

When asked if Finland could withstand a Russian attack without U.S. support, President Stubb said: “If you ask me whether the Finnish military can defend itself against a Russian attack, considering our full defense structure and readiness — yes, we can.”

He emphasized that Finland’s defense strategy is strong, self-reliant, and fully capable of handling security challenges on its own, highlighting the resilience and preparedness of the Finnish armed forces.
